I use excel, myself, and have two tabs - one for Trade and one for Save.

I use this to create my trade list & copy paste into here.

There is a place to put your trade and wish lists on your profile page, under "about me". That way somebody can always find your lists without too much searching through the trading forum. When you see other peoples' lists in that area of their profile page, you might notice that if they have a really long wish list that they add into the space for their trade list. This is because (for some strange reason) there is a rather limited amount of space for the wish list but lots and lots of room for the trade list. Check out other peoples' lists to get an idea of how to do them.

BTW, I would recommend giving at least equal (if not higher) priority to getting your wish list together. A long and detailed wish list gets results. Anytime you see a great new coupon that you'd really like, just copy and paste the info into your wish list. It's especially helpful if you can provide more detail about the coupon, like the expiry, UPC and the source.

Here's a link to a helpful post about where to put some things like your trade list and questions, requests etc (see link below). Good luck!

I've been looking at the trade lists and wish lists and trying to decide how to create my own and initiate trades.

I'm surprised that you say a long wish list gets results. Is it better to take your stack of surplus coupons and go looking for people who want them? Or do you start by looking for people who have what you want?

How do you decide what you want? I guess I'm still learning sale prices etc but right now it's hard to tell what coupons I want other than for stuff I like to use/eat.
