To all the TV techies out there :

Is the KDL55EX500 for $1199.99 a good deal ?

Is the TV worth it or should we spend a few hundred more for something far superior in quality ?
We own all Sony electronics at the moment and would like to keep with that if possible unless someone can suggest a better brand.
We are finally going to take the plunge into the LCD/Plasma market and we thought Boxing Day sales might be a good time and that this may be a good tv.
Any information about it would be appreciated !
