I was happy to see he was donating some of that cereal... I mean it has an expiry and I don't think anyone could eat that much cereal before the date.
I now know why it is called extreme couponing!! Everyone likes to save a buck but that was just ridiculous!! I don't think it's right.... I mean we all like to stock pile but that is out of control.

Why can't cashier scan coupons here? It takes forever for them to read it and then finally subtract the value!

I just happened to stumble across this show tonight. Must be nice that all the store employees cheer on the people using these coupons. I always feel like a criminal when I use coupons... like I'm being scrutinized and judged to the max. They're always coming up with excuses to refuse our coupons. I do come across the random cashier who is happy for me, but I feel like the majority of them are rolling their eyes at me.
Anywho, I found the people on this show give couponers a bad image. Like we're all greedy pigs who just want to stuff our garages full of crap we'll never use.
At least the last guy donated some food. I only caught the last third or so of the show. Hopefully the other people were just as kind. My two cents.

Watched show, and prompted me to check this all out! I guess from reading that the show is in the US-with the coupon doubling. Looks interesting; anything to save!

Thanks, Kim, just finished watching the show, made me feel SO MUCH better that I am not at that extreme.
Told DH to watch it too, and said, see, I am not that bad.

I watched this with my brother and now I can't blue bin dive at his place to get the coupons lol. He was amazed and all I kept saying was 'this one person on Smart Canucks.......'.....then he called his daughter in the room, she works at Freshco and she said 'yeah the people with the binders' .
The show was very interesting.
