Need hints on cheapest places to buy cloth diapers - pockets or prefolds plus covers. Cheap but good? Thankyou very much.

Not too sure about what is out there now....been about 4 years since I bought any cloth diapers. When I did buy them, I bought the ones from Sears....not the Kushies, but the Sears brand ones. They were always on sale for 20 or 30% off. They are shaped just like a regular diaper, so there was no folding or anything. I had the cotton inserts for them, this made for easy clean up for #2s. I did not like the "all-in-one" ones...where the inner liner is attached and the outer wrap is built in. I found that the outer wrap did not hold up to washing as well as the ones that were separate, and clean up was a PITA for messy jobs.

Used cloth diapers will sell for about $10 each. Good luck getting them for less than than new (unless they are sold as defectives). Try kijiji or craigslist. Also, scour your local mom sales, there are a lot of them in the spring and you may score some CDs there.

And I have to say from experience, Oxiclean works amazing wonders on CD stains.

I've seen them on babysteals.com and on mamabargains.com They are sites that have deals that only last a certain amount of time.
