i've been like a walking tragedy lately...today i did a slide on the concrete hitting the ground with my palms and knees and in true form rolled onto my side off the curb, onto the street and partially under a vehicle(stationary, thank-you very much). it could have been worse ie., wearing a dress that undoubtly would be wrapped around my head, or something.

i'm a little sore and stiff(my muscles that is) and i need to take my boo-boos to bed now. i have to work tommorrow...not at my favourite place...but i'll have sun/mon off. woo-who-who!

Can anyone give me tips on bbq corn on the cob? im so traditonal boil it sort of woman but ive had it on the bbq and loved it ,just not so sure how long or i hear u soak it ? any tips would be great

good afternoon qsters! morning for some...i think i'll live - my knee is bruised and both my wrists/palms are sore. Geesh! falling without the support of alcohol is painful. thank-you for your well wishes.

well, micheles with single L's, i hope you're not working too hard and have a chance to enjoy this lovely day. i'm typically finished work at 1pm'ish during the week, but i don't start until 4pm this aft. good/bad i don't know yet, but i working past my bedtime...boo-hoo

There are tons of ways to cook corn on the barbie. You can pull back the leaves and remove the stringy stuff, smooth the leaves back, soak them a bit in water and then onto the barbie and keep turning, or simply prepare them as normal, some oil (light), salt , pepper and put them on the little rack away from direct heat. If you put them onto the direct heat you need to pay more attention to them and keep turning. There's no magic time, depends on the heat. It's real easy and very yummy.
