Yes, that's me back in the day when you could pull out a stringer like that in an hour or so. Think I was 15 or 16. Now I'm 51. That was in a lake in Haliburton that you have to walk 2 miles into or take a sea plane.

We would have put a few of the bass on the fire to cook while skinny dipping. Then, had the fish with some french fries (we would bring a fry pan and oil) before hiking back through the gorge and forest (hoping not to meet any bears).

Lucky that day because there was a monster snappin turtle that would enjoy a feast off our stringers every now and then.
