Sure come on over! Actually, I have a friend in Oshawa and I'd visit him and visit you, too, but he's a guy friend of 18 years and I don't think his new girlfriend would lilke me to visit.

Does anyone read the news on the Q107 website? What a city we live in/near.

This is the latest -
Police are calling it death by misadventure.

A man in his 30's has died after diving head first into a fountain on Front Street just after midnight Sunday.

The partially naked man was found floating face down in the water without any vital signs - pronounced dead later in hospital. Police aren't sure why he jumped into the fountain.

Your balcony looks so inviting. What a nice place to relax and take in a summery day.
You made me recall some pretty good concerts and the sparking up of the things that seemed to make the rounds. A lot of sharing.
I really liked seeing Supertramp, David Bowie, The Stones and so many others.
Santana is still up there too.

The bands we loved and there were so many
& concerts didn't cost such a pretty penny,
The Concerts at Maple Leaf Gardens and the Grandstand at the CNE,
Memories I am recalling that are so very dear to me,
There weren't so many venues where you could get a concert thrill,
Let alone a place like Youtube where you can reminisce & chill,
We really had an abundance of artists who we relied on when we'd be sad,
Crazy looney rockers that pushed the envelope of bad!
Ain't it amazing that so many old rockers are still a rockin' today,
Maybe they learned a lesson from the ones that we lost on the way,
The dance of life goes on my friends so keep those memories on file,
Conjure them up in your mind like an old fashioned radio dial,
With a crackling overplayed album, sit back & have a listen,
Perhaps you were in the basement with your true love just a kissin'

I have to agree with Carrogirl. This poem really brought me back and even brought a tear to my eye. True rock fans are always rock fans. And what great tunes Q is playing today!
