Teaching today and just on a quick break. No winning word eh?
I don't think --- works after the word is announced. I checked some other boards and they don't have the word either. I was hoping MicheleM would catch the word.
Oh well, 1000 points won't be a biggie I guess.
Have a good day all!

Do you guys have ANY idea how awkward it is to get a DeLorean
up to 88 Miles per Hour here in a quiet residential area???
The cops are on the lookout for me, now...
So I'm in "realtime" mode, waiting for the 4:15 Winning Word
right along with all the rest of you!!
And here comes a thunderstorm, too - wonder if I could tap into
the lightning for the 13.8 Gigawatts I need for the Flux Capacitor.
Anyway, here's the word:
GRANDSTAND

To be totally honest, I did actually have the word an hour ago,
but the Q site wouldn't accept it until just moments ago.
So, I didn't post it!
Apologies all around.

I hope the cops don’t catch you. I guess you don’t have your hover conversion yet; then it would be easier to get up to 88 mph without being noticed - maybe next trip.
There's been many bolts of lightening lately, but I hope you don’t have to use one instead of plutonium – sounds dangerous. Then again, don’t the Libyans still want their plutonium back?
Guess you modified your DeLorean because last I heard, they only need 1.21 gigawatts to time travel; image yours has quite a kick. I hope you get far enough into the future soon to get your nuclear reactor replaced with the safer and more environmentally friendly Mr. Fusion.
We all appreciate the risk you take to get our words - cops, Libyans, lightening bolts, nuclear power, 88 mph on a residential street! Take care and stay safe my friend. Thanks again for the words!
