As it turns out, they did close the contest for the reason I suspected; the winner would not be able to pick up the prize on the weekend. The winner will be drawn from the pool of all three contest listings at 11:59 tonight.

Bottom line: if you entered the closed contest, there is no need to worry about lost tickets or points: your entries are still valid.

Just missed a call from Q107 on my cell (I can't answer it at my desk) and they didn't leave a message...

The U2 draw isn't until the weekend. I wonder if I won something, and they're calling someone else now, lol...

truenorth, what did the call display show when the Q phoned? I never answer calls if I don't reconize the caller.

Oh, and about the U2 prize, the rules clearly state that they'll phone the winner. No answer, they draw again. No msgs left.
