Did you read Maureen Holloway's blog about Las Vegas? She's never been there, is not interested in ever going there and considers it a vacation built around "hookers and blow".

Sad statements from a very square lady and not even funny.

If I would have won, it would be all about gamblin', smokin', boozin', dancin' and Beatles Love-in!! Followed by an empty purse, difficulty breathing, a hangover, sore feets and great memories!

Having said that, I'll crawl back under my rock. Where's the Tylenol?

I think it's a little harsh to call her "square" just because her idea of a good time is not the same as your own. I know lots of folks who wouldn't give you the time of day for a trip to Lost Wages; they're still fun to be around.

I still have an Eaton Viking player where I'd play my cassettes,
Even long before the days of floppy diskettes,
I've been reviewing my tapes with fondness & memories so vivid,
Songs I'd play over & over till my father was livid!
I've got The Captain and Me & BTO,
& that hunky Cat Stevens (man he was a beau!)
Band on The Run, Dark Side of the Moon,
Goats Head Soup used to blast in my room,
In my burnt orange haven with shag carpeting,
Life was grand....till you lost an earring,
My musical momentos sit upon my book case,
If you remember Deep Purple can't you just feel the bass?
Is Loocie dated, this may be true,
But my tape is working almost as good as new!
So on a cold fall evening I shall get reacquainted,
& touch base with some times when life wasn't so tainted.

Hi Everyone,

Been real busy lately working and trying to have fun with my son, too. Wanted to say thanks for the words and send reps to all my Q friends.

Treated a gang to Yuk Yuks in Mississauga tonight - laughed til I cried. My son was sitting up front and they really picked on him and me, too. He really laughed because he loves comedy and got to experience uncensored comedy. Pretty rude stuff; especially when they told him I ate his brothers and sisters

Sorry all. Ended up going across to my usual hangout at the last minute. Thought I'd be back long before, but the boys were rehearsing & needed a guitar, so I loaned them mine (brand new, my New Years resolution to learn, of course I only got it this week!). I blackmailed them into serenading me in order to use it (hey, I'm old & they're in their early 20s - I can have some fun, right?). Oh & I'm up for fun in Vegas. Went last yr & had a great time! The heck with the gambling, bring on the shows!
