Ironic, because I smelled waffles or pancakes or something on the bus this morning. Turned out someone had spilled maple syrup in the aisle. Oh, well... at least it was sticky, so no one will slip on it.

Good morning, all. Happy Thursday! Close to the end of the week for most of you, but not for me. This IS the end of my work week! I booked a very rare vacation day tomorrow. Going to see KISS with my sister, brother-in-law and nephew. He's 7, he's seen The Wiggles, and a KISS tribute This will be his first big arena rock show.

I wish MY parents were as cool as my sister & brother-in-law... MY first concert was Kenny Rogers. (nothing wrong with Kenny... but KISS in the mid to late 70's would have been such a cooler first concert story)

Kenny Rogers? I should'a been so lucky. For me it was Mitch Miller, Tommy Hunter and Don Messer. Thank goodness that Lawrence Welk never came this way on a tour! Now I'm really showing my age!
