Thanks to all for posting the trivia and winning words. I had a busy week and wasn't able to get on the computer much, so I caught up where I could to get some points.

My seat's were section 121 (East corner). And the stage was at the west end but I could see very well. There was a few sound problems for Buckcherry. It was resolved then happened again for KISS. They fixed it pretty quick and the show was on. Gene was taken to the ceiling on cables, lots of fire and fireworks. About half way through some fireworks went off and some of the lights fell onto the stage! Nobody was hit by them thank Gawd! They did not do Heaven's on Fire : ( that was a dissapointment for me. We were on our feet the whole time, awesome concert!

Great show last night at the ACC, technical hiccups aside. In ten years of seeing shows at the ACC, and more than twenty years of seeing shows in general, I've NEVER seen anyone completely lose power to their PA. What are the odds of it happening twice in the same night?
I've now seen KISS five times, and this was by far the best lineup I've seen. In 1987, Eric Carr was brilliant, but Bruce Kulick had the animation of a cedar tree. Granted, he was shy at first, just got up on stage and tended to stay to his side of the stage.
I missed the Reunion Tour, but by the time the Farewell Tour rolled along, both Peter and Ace were just in it for a paycheque. Neither the catman or the space ace wanted to BE there.
At first, I didn't want to see them any more. I thought putting the makeup on Eric Singer and Ace's guitar tech was a slap in the face to both Peter and Ace, but this was my nephew's first KISS show, so I couldn't say no. Eric Singer is ten times the drummer Peter Criss is. Comparing the two is like comparing Neil Peart to Ringo Starr. And having four musicians playing together who WANT to be there makes a world of difference.
This is my nephew, watching as Gene spews blood during the bass solo between 100,000 Years and I Love it Loud. The kid was affraid to blink, he was worried he might miss something!
Here he is, in full-on rockin' out mode:
His mom & dad bought him a t-shirt. I don't know why, at a show that clearly appeals to a VERY diverse age group, they didn't sell any t-shirts in kids' sizes. (lol, this looks like a nightgown on him)
What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?
They both look good until they hit the ice.

Well. The sun's out NOW, at least! But up 'til now it's been
a pretty icky day here. Had to run a couple of errands and ran
into rain the whole time. AH, Canada! i *do* love the fall season,
though. And I might even dust off one of the old Winchesters
and do a little hunting this month. I feel the urge.
OH! It's about time for the 4:15 Winning Word!
Here we go:
BACKTRACKS

Have a great evening, everyone!
