Yes, indeed the header indicates 100 points, but the description does as well..unless they've changed the description after you saw it here's what it says as of 11:20p "Log on and make your pick for the 2009 Playoffs. You will receive 100 points for each of the correct picks you make!"

Weird. Looks like the Baseball playoff Points for Picks is 100 points. Not good... if they change the Sleuth down to 500 from 2,500 points...what's next?

I didn't mean for my Monday Jammie Day to turn into day #3 today! Mark and I both caught a chest cold that has knocked the energy and humour out of us! He's being the tropper though with having to work midnights! I've taken these days off school and today I'm trying to catch up on my assignments, having difficultly trying to work through this brainfog I'm feeling.

I play quite a bit and the best i have ever done was 3 "Bars" on 2,500 and won 62,500, but that was only once. 3 cherries are not that rare, but the trick is to catch them with a high bet.

and i find i have alot better luck if i stay away for awhile (a week?) and then bet big on the first couple spins

I played a few times when they introduced it. Hit it big with one spin, then lost everything I'd won and them some. I found that it was not very conducive to my plan to hoard as many points as possible to continue playing, lol.

Like playing as if it WERE $$$, i always set a point that I'm willing to lose, then start with no more than 2 big bets. If i don't get at least one cherry in those two spins (to make my points back) I'll drop down to the lowest bet until I get a winner.
From there I use progressively increasing bets (two spins per). Usually you with get at least one cherry within the six spins and will win or lose minimum. After each win, I start back at the lowest bet and work up again.
It's not 100%, but limits loses and I've managed to increase my points more than I've lost.
