hey, guys!

what a beautiful day! a lot of jobs around the garden calling my name...i didn't hear them. spent the day with co-workers at my "knit & b****" and eat, of course. good fun.

my poor daughter-in-law was bored stiff until she was rescued by my son later in the afternoon.

2 bottles of wine - one white/one red were provided by yours truly and more than half of the red was left(and promptly tucked into my friends knit bag). boy, times have changed and so have i. if someone had plunked those down in front of me i'd of asked what was everyone else drinking.

one woman remarked how her mom used to get together with other lady knitters over a pot of tea and then she added, "oh, but they were older". hello! reality check. we are probably older then her mother and friends were.

my plan to rake has been postponed for another day...week...still hoping they continue to blow away.

btw, Fawn friday night has always been my favourite 'day'. sundays are o.k., but the anxiety of having to get up so early for work monday kicks in around 2pm; even though i'm listening to psych-sunday. major drag. saturdays are cool.

i don't get those annoying cold calls ever since i dropped my home line and stick to my cell...of course my cell is a whole different bag of tricks...evil tricks.

oh, and whomeno, where's my slice? crumbs again.
