Hi Randy, I shorted your message above because I just wanted to comment on this part.

A word of warning about Shaman (he'll probably get me back for this). He has an odd sense of humour. He likes to tease and doesn't mean anything by it. He's probably looking for you to tease him right back.

To make my point, there is a thread called ’10,001 reasons we love to pick on Shaman’. Shaman started it himself ‘so that MAYBE certain SC ladies will be forced to be nice to me once and awhile’. There are over 3600 posts.

Careful though, the line between teasing and insulting is very fine and can escalate. A smart person solves a problem, while a wise person avoids one.

I will add my two cents if I may. I feel Mjones posts make a lot of sense. I myself have to becareful everyday because most of my work is done through email. The hardest thing about that, is that short written message doesn't always evoke the emotion that we intended when we typed a message. Maybe something to keep in mind.

Although this thread was started by Rockin' Kitty, who drops in from time to time, our moderator is Koala. If you report a post (little icon beside the rep icon), Koala gets it. Koala can ban you, not Shaman, but anyone can message Koala to influence a decision.

I should add, that it can't hurt to be nice to Shaman (me bad today) since his rep power is 4627as opposed to my minor 76 (see info on my side panel to the left of this message)

I never thought I'd say this, but I've actually enjoyed Battle of the Blades. The final three pairs have done a really good job, and I give props to the hockey players who've stepped way out of their comfort zone to take up figure skating. Besides, I've always had a thing for Shae-Lynn Bourne in a short skirt!

you guys are amazing! i went back to check posts for the last couple of days and i was pleasantly surprised to see so many scs working together with help from the newbies (former lurkers...just like myself).

we had a great luncheon party for my parents' birthdays...90 for my pa and 83 for my mum. a good time was had by all!

i'll be taking to my bed soon but i just want to congratulate each and everyone of you for being really cool canuckers.
