The Aaron Stemple thing was in fan fiction, not an original Star Trek episode or feature. As for the quote in Undiscovered Country, it is established in the Trek universe that Holmes is a fictional character (holodeck of the Enterprise D), therefore Spock is referring to the author, not the character. Doyle is the one who wrote the words to which Spock alludes.

Where? They are deductions, and in each case based on the most reasonable interpretation i.e. not introducing more fictional elements. (C'mon, you don't really wanna debate me on this do you?)

thnx for all the winning words and trivia Q-sters
KarlB All the best for your dad, take care of yourself and your wife too
Don Henley concert was great, grouchy security made it impossible for pix,the turnout was poor - they moved the stage to centre ice and closed the second level off - maybe 7,500 people - but the show really was a great even though his voice was crackly with a cold with a mix of songs including covers of Tears For Fears, Leonard Cohen as well as some Eagles tunes including Desperado and his own stuff - New York Minute, I Will Not Go Quietly!!
    Rock on
