just saw ur posts from earlier. sounds like green ribbon folk will take over this thread also. I've been lurking for a few weeks now but I really needed to comment on this. I just got my new spare part Sept 10. 73 days ago. Had a couple bad months but the last few weeks have shown great improvements and I feel GREAT.

Sometimes we exhibit quite the wit & sometimes quite the cheek,

Share little snippets of our lives along this “Q” highway,
Makes our camaraderie mean much more then just words of the day,
We are all real people, who have things in our lives,
Some of us wonderful husbands & some are darling wives,
We’ve had sadness here & jubilance there,
& some have secrets that are best not to share,
Once and a while there has been some bickering,
But we always bounce back, all the way snickering,
I like how all of you contribute however you’re able,
& you guests out there you know there’s room for more at our table!

Well, it's time I stepped out of my comfort zone, so here goes. This one's for you, Loocie!


Of all the folks who hang out here, there's none who can compare
With the gal from near Toronto with fair skin and reddish hair
Who brings a smile so often with her synchopatic prose
We all are sympathetic when she speaks of hubby's nose
That vibrates oh so loudly while our Loocie tries to rest
I'm sure it drives her mad and puts her patience to the test
It's bound to make her crazy when the bed begins to shake
And the sounds of all that snoring, makes it feel like an earthquake
Has come to old Ontario to wake her from her sleep
She must just want to shake him, say some things like "Holy Bleep"
Instead she comes to us and asks for help and sage advice
To help him overcome it, and to make her bedroom nice
For our Loocie to dream sweetly, think of all things Mighty Q
So she can scribe another poem that brings joy to me and you
So let's help her with this problem, find a permanent repair
And make Loocie's home the quietest, any time and anywhere!
