I just went to 20 more prizes and every one said MM.
Is there any say L, I guess meaning Local.

Hi All
I'm back, see I have not missed much, same old stuff happening and the Q site being a tempermental as usual.
I have rep'd were I could, but find myself in the penalty box again.
ChouChou
The "Q" site will sometimes not allow you to imput your word,
It's a titch of a glitch that's not all that absurd,
As long as our points are not effected,
We'll hang in there while our word keeps being rejected,
It's keeps you glued to the "Q" site cause you keep checking back,
To try once again & maybe at the slots take a whack,
I never play the slots cause much to my chagrin,
It seems another place where I just never win,
So hello all you “Q” girls & all you “Q” guys,
Hope you don’t mind yet another reprise.
Okay... i was bored and started guessing the AC/DC Winning words.
Guess what "Tasmanian Devil" worked for the Kim Michell winning word.
Tazmanian Devil wouldn't work but DEVIL did
we'll share the winning word glory if its either! lol...
To clarify (and likely belabour the point) Easybeats was the announced word by Alex on his 7p-midnight shift at approx. 9:20p as identified by Truenorth. I posted an explanation at post# 26887 for McSkier that posted the word Aussie. Even though it was a guess (bogus, as Maggierocks might put it) it worked and the word entry form would have gone away because the entry was accepted. Therefore there would be no place to enter the announced AC/DC word for Alex's shift - remember there is now only one AC/DC word per DJ shift.
Because there are so many words put out on the forum I tend to check the playlist to see when they played an AC/DC song. The 'official'/'announced' AC/DC word is played just before they play an AC/DC song...all other words - even if they work - are guesses/bogus. Me, I'm erring on the side accuracy and entering the as announced words.
Sorry for the long-winded, delayed response. (phew!) :yikes:
If one checks their account activity on the Q listener club website, they will see whether or not the word entered has been accepted or not. If it shows up there and points were awarded for the entry, then no matter what word was entered, if it was accepted it is a valid entry.
Thank you Neon for the excellent information.
With all the guessing and the "it's not on my list" posts here, it's getting very hard to find the announced word, and to have to go through the playlist to find the time of day is extreme, albeit necessary.
Personally, I'm beginning to wonder if the overhead here isn't simply too much. Placing the persistent guessers on "ignore" (I learned how to do this!) is one possible solution to cut down on the bogus word posts but not a very friendly or social thing to do.
I still can't help but wonder if the bogus ballots (or contestants) aren't quietly being discarded behind the scenes by the Q .. safe to assume that they'd never notify anyone of their disqualification due to the customer service implications.
And poor Andit!! She wades through all this for our nightly summary.
