If one checks their account activity on the Q listener club website, they will see whether or not the word entered has been accepted or not. If it shows up there and points were awarded for the entry, then no matter what word was entered, if it was accepted it is a valid entry.

True enough. I didn't know that information was there before Electric Viking mentioned - useful. I agree though, it only indicates point activity. I susppose the assumption is that successful points equals a successful ballot. I hope for everyone's sake this is the case. I usually err on the side of accuracy...no matter how much I try otherwise.

Thank you Neon for the excellent information.

With all the guessing and the "it's not on my list" posts here, it's getting very hard to find the announced word, and to have to go through the playlist to find the time of day is extreme, albeit necessary.

Personally, I'm beginning to wonder if the overhead here isn't simply too much. Placing the persistent guessers on "ignore" (I learned how to do this!) is one possible solution to cut down on the bogus word posts but not a very friendly or social thing to do.

I still can't help but wonder if the bogus ballots (or contestants) aren't quietly being discarded behind the scenes by the Q .. safe to assume that they'd never notify anyone of their disqualification due to the customer service implications.

And poor Andit!! She wades through all this for our nightly summary.

Did you have an issue with yesterday's AC/DC word for Joanne Wilder? There were a number of posters that identified it as Fosters and it worked for me...and assuming others. There seemed to be a bit of a question mark around the Derringer AC/DC word. Do you still have it on you list?

Reps, some people say its icon that looks like a cloud, some say they look like scales (bottom left of your posts). Here is a link that should help you

Keep in mind that you are only allowed to give out a certain amount of "reps" during a 24 hour period (something like 50). And that you have to give a certain amount of "reps" before you can rep a person again (I.E. if you rep NOTLER, you must give 10 (or whatever the number is) to other people before you can rep them again).

Also Shaman (keep going back in this thread till you find one of his posts)has a quick video on his signature that would be pretty helpful
