But "serviette" is such a nice French-Canadian word! Please give it another chance, don't let it separate from your vocabulary.

Thanks so much for the codes everyone. I am new to this thread, but I have listened to Q107 for a long time! I would have the radio on now if my 7 mos and 2 and a half year old couldn't hear it...trying to get them to bed...some day, when they are older, mommy can rock out to loud music again!!!

Frank Vetere's had awesome ice cream sundaes. I still remember the thrill, as a kid, when they'd bring out the huge platter of unlimited toppings and sauces.... oh, the memories (and the stomach aches).

Thanks folks for keeping me up to date. Was up in our nation's capital for a couple of days. Sleepy little town, but still a nice place especially if you know where to stir it up.

Our's here in Brampton had a sundae bar. You brought your dish up, filled it with as much ice cream as was humanly possible, then packed on the toppings.
Mothers' Pizza was another favourite. The one on Queen Street here was owned by the Blue Jays' Dave Stieb. (or was it Ernie Whitt?)What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?
They both look good until they hit the ice.

I worked as a dishwasher at the Mother's Pizza on Kipling Ave. when I was in grade 9. I got kind of turned off their food though, when I found out the meatballs came as little dehydrated pellets and they just added water to them before putting them on the pizza or in the spaghetti.... but I guess that's what most of the places do now.
