I was a rockin' gal in the seventies, I loved concerts & buying LP's,
From Pink Floyd, The Who, The Rolling Stones to Melanie's Brand New Keys,
I used to love the double albums & sometimes when the lyrics were included,
I would listen in my basement room all private & secluded,
If an album came with a poster, I'd tack it to my wall,
I'll have to admit that I once thought Roger Daltry was a doll,
A whole new situation with the invention of CD's.
The Way we even listen now, has changed 100 degrees,
So now I find myself past 50, though only by one year,
I've mellowed out considerably & I'd never wear clothes that are sheer,
If The Rolling Stones keep rocking, then why the heck can't we?
That's why have those tunes well filed cause what a memory,
So emerse yourself in tunes that mean a lot to you,
Cause a song that has special meaning will help to see you through.

Good poem Loocie! Sounds very familiar, the 70's were the best years for music, thats for sure! Every band seemed to be great! I don't feel I have changed very much at all.
