Hey everyone, hope your Thursday is going good!
Just put the first few gifts under the tree, 3 for my furry feline friends and 3 for my daughter!
Good on ya T.R. for making 100 of your own cards and sending them already! Right on!
I'm trying for the pink Ipod, anyone else?
TTYL - time for some lunch

Lacrosse is Canadian.
Hockey is Canadian.
Basketball is Canadian.
The size of Canadian footballs and football fields and, one less down.
Ogopogo is Canadian (Ogopogo, a distant and less-famous relative of the Loch Ness Monster, is said to still live in Lake Okanagan, B.C.)
Molson's is Canadian. Stronger too!
The biggest flags ever seen at the Olympic closing ceremonies were Canadian (twice...and the second one was smuggled in against a rule that was made because of the first one).
Way better beer commercials here.
Much Music kicks MTV's butt.
Tim Horton's kicks Dunkin Donut's butt.
Maple Syrup kicks Mrs. Butterworth's butt (I don't know about Aunt Jemima).
In the war of 1812 we burned the White house and most of Washington.
Our "Civil war" was led by a drunken, and possibly insane William Lyon McKenzie.
Our civil war was a bar fight that lasted a little less than an hour.
The only person arrested and hanged after our civil war was an American mercenary who slept in and missed the whole fight, showing up just in time to get caught.
The Hudson Bay company once owned 1/11th of the Earth's surface.
The average dog sled team can kill and devour a grown human in less than three minutes.
We don't have much of a taste for powdered bear testicles, but we know who does, and we're willing to sell them.
We wear socks (black ones, if possible) with our sandals.
We knew plaid flannel was cool way before Seattle did.
We can out-drink most Americans.
We don't often marry our kinfolk.
The light bulb was actually invented by a Canadian. (Henry Woodward patented it in 1874). The patent was bought by some obscure American named Edison who improved upon the design and took credit for inventing it.
Other Canadian inventions include: the jolly jumper, duct tape, insulin, walkie talkies, roller skates, Superman, air-conditioned vehicles, acrylics, standard time (and daylight saving time), the paint-roller, the radio compass, snowmobiles, jet skis, improved zippers, Bloody Caesar, Habitant yellow pea soup, Montreal smoked meat and real Montreal bagels, Maple syrup pie, Nanaimo bars (we made 'em first), Butter tarts, Date squares, Pablum, Crispy Crunch bars, Smarties, McIntosh toffee bars, Red Rose tea (Only in Canada ....Pity!) and of course, Poutine...Also, Roots - remember the shoes with the reverse slope on the sole?

The only local contest listed right now is the Tom Petty Anthology.
The prizes listed at the top of the list where the "prize" is in (or near) TO and or presented by Q107.
Normally not a big list.
But have faith. I did win the jigsaw at the end of October in a MM contest. How old would you be, if you didn't know how old you were?

So, Ronnie Wood was involved in something & it wasn’t domestic bliss,
A scuffle or an altercation occurred between him & his dear little Miss,
The lovely Ekaterina Ivanova is 20 & she wooed him away from his wife,
The 62 year old Ronnie will be paying for the rest of his life,
An old & wrinkled up multimillionaire can sure attract the ladies,
Even if he was a rocker, when their mama’s were still little babies,
It seems that his new relationship now seems doomed to fail,
Maybe all his romantic moves are long outdated & stale,
They say the drink can cause side effects & the wires don’t get connected,
Possibly the statue in their local park was the only thing that was erected,
With a choke, a smoke & another drink Ron will always be Ronnie,
& maybe his next main squeeze won’t be a gal quite as Bonnie,
How some of those guys still have a pulse is really quite beyond me,
Cause it wasn’t all that long ago when Keith fell while climbing a tree,
Naughty aging rockers are still making headline news,
They say it lasts a life time when you get hooked on blues,
So good luck Mr Wood with this one, & we’ll await to hear more tunes,
But just a little bit of advice, stick to drinking juice made from prunes!!!

What's ironic with all the downsizing of products is supposedly over the years our dinner plates have grown larger by 2". Is this how they compensated for this?
Tim Horton's beating Dunkin Donuts, what about a couple of years when that other US brand tried moving in Krispy Kream. Are there any of these left around?
