I just got an email saying I had won 4 passes to the boat show, but they gave no instructions on how we claim the passes. I've asked for clarification, so hopefully for anyone else who won, they will send a second email to explain how to claim them.

I won also and here are the instructions

To pick up your boat show passes, just stop by our reception desk at 1 Dundas St. W on the 16th floor. Please make sure you bring Photo ID. If you can’t pick them up in person, you can send someone as logn as they have a copy of your photo ID and a note from you saying it’s okay for them to pick them up!

I'm just back from the hospital where I had surgery to repair an ankle I broke on Saturday evening as I thoughlessly ran out of the house and slipped on the ice.

Thanks for the words and updates!

oh no, that sucks!!!.....you have to be soooo careful out there, just another reason I hate winter, it's treacherous.....hope you heal quickly....TR:-(

I think there are bugs running around the Mighty Q's computer..to many problems..
I'm all repped out again..
It may be gray outside.. but it sure is mild.. getting rested for the snow shoveling tomorrow...

I'll know how you feel on Friday after my shoulder surgery. I'll have my arm strapped to my body for six weeks and therapy for six months to a year. I'm banking on the six months. I like the idea of getting away but can't because of being doped up and then the therapy. Did you know that any major shoulder surgery you lose your driver's license for two to three weeks.

...oh yuck....geeze, is everyone being hit by rotten luck these days?...broken ankles, flooding in the house, and now this?.....gawd....well, here's a little heads up for you, 6ffightr9 ( and TwoIron).....once you start therapy, don't skip any of it.....you get out of it what you put into it, and you get a better result if you work hard, and believe me, therapy is bloody hard work......frustrating, annoying, difficult, it's all of those things and more.....been there many many times (5 hip replacements so far), so I know what I'm talking about....
...if you feel like screaming, log on and do it.....you will need support thru all of this, and I'm pretty sure most of the lovely souls on this group will be happy to help....it's a long tough road, no doubt about it, but it's a "one day at a time" thing....here's hoping for a good result for you....you can do this, take all the pain meds you are offered ( ya don't get a medal for bravery, or the chest to pin it on), and be kind to yourself.....will be thinking of you Friday, and here's your first bunch of flowers ....TR

...wow, I meant to show up here and say hello to everyone first off, but after reading about all the crap that was happening to so many of our lovely friends, I ended up commenting instead ( but a sincere thankyou to all of you who are always there with codes and words).....OK, that's 3 things....broken ankle, shoulder surgery, flooding in the laundry room.....you usually hear of things happening in 3's?....well, there they all are, so we should have some downtime in the bad luck department for a while, I hope....soft fluffy hugs are being dispatched to our 3 members.....TR

The inventor of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle, Arthur Davidson , died and went to heaven.

At the gates, St. Peter told Arthur. 'Since you've been such a good man and your motorcycles
have changed the world, your reward is, you can hang

Arthur thought about it for a minute and then said, ' I want to hang out with God.'

St. Peter took Arthur to the Throne Room, and introduced him to God.
