I'm not able to get into the site, even had probs with the live radio for a bit.


As for local talent, I have a soft spot for Gowan (currently lead singer for Styx). He went to the all-boys school down the street from the all-girls school I went to, a few yrs ahead of me, but my classmate was good friends with his sister. Can't remember how many times I saw him in concert.

Blue Rodeo, Frozen Ghost, Glass Tiger, Honeymoon Suite (still GTA).

Moxy Fruvous - I swore if I ever got married, my wedding song would be My Baby Loves A Bunch of Authors (maybe that scared off any potential suitors - might explain why I'm a spinster).

Anyone ever hear Hemingway Corner? 2 boys with a guitar, they were very very good.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a whole lot of others. At one point, I was going to a concert a week.

Oh & I love Zappacosta. His was my second rock concert, went with my folks, he was singing at a fundraiser for a nursing home. My folks couldn't get over seeing fans ranging in age from 8 to 80, all singing along, knowing every word. For a while, he had a lovely restaurant on Avenue Rd - my friend & I would go listen to him sing every Friday night.

Such fun days.
