The dog is happily watching them dig the foundation for a new condo across the street. The bad news is I'll lose my view of the Gardiner & the trains. The good news is that the pretty glass building will catch all the dust & grime, & my windows will finally stay clean for longer than 5 minutes.

I have gotten both e-mails and phone calls when I have won. My big win, the XM prize pack, was phoned in and all my "little" wins, movies/event tickets have been by e-mail.
It could be that they cannot contact the first winner and are slowly moving down the places.
Don't give up hope!!

It irks me that they'll announce a winner immediately for a mixer or a helmet cam, which is probably sitting in a warehouse and won't be mailed out for another week or so. But when it comes to something like this, where arrangements may need to be made and such, they leave us sitting on pins n' needles for days.

Pretty sure I mentioned this before, but I dumped about two million points on a meet & greet with Steve Van Zandt on Springsteen's Magic tour, and the winner's name was never posted. It sat for about a week after the show on the page with a "Pending Notification of Winner" tag.

I'd won tickets to the show on Workplace Challenge, so when I picked them up the day of the show, I asked why a winner's name hadn't been posted. The receptionist told me that they try to notify the winner, but if they don't (hypothetically, let's say you change your number, and forget to update it), the tickets will usually just go to someone in the office.
