Hey, thats not right to give the winning tickets to someone at the Q office if they can't contact the winner. They should choose someone else who entered. The people entering are the one's who take the time to collect points and make the station popular! I hope they don't do that for every contest! Geez, that sucks!
and for a little chuckle:
Q: Who was the best dancer at the monster dance?
A: The boogie man!
Q: Why did the Cabbage win the Race?
A: Because he was a-head!

Morning!!
I just had the pleasure of getting my Health Card renewed. It actually expired in August, but couldn't find a place close to home to renew it. Home base = Markham; closest centre that accepted appointments was either Whitby or Newmarket. Neither very convenient. However, thought I'd bite the bullet and get it done so made an appt for 9 today in Newmarket; their first appt of the day - figured I'd be in and out in a jiffy.
There were very few people in the renewal centre and everyone was pleasant (yes, I actually enjoyed bantering with the wicket staff in a government office - go figure). The whole process took me less than 10 minutes from when I stepped into the door of the centre.
(Do you sense a But coming ....)
However, (ha, fooled you) although I got to the mall where the renewal office is at 8:55, I didn't actually get into the office until 9:25.
>>>> For those of you, who like me until this morning, are not familiar with Newmarket or the Tannery Mall - it shares the parking lot with the GO station. THERE IS NO PARKING. I couldn't even "drop" my car in a non-spot as they had Pretty Rita's running around. Absolutely brutal.
Would seriously suggest that if you are making an appt with any government agency in that mall, you either get someone to drop you off and they can do laps while you're inside; or you pick another centre!

What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?
They both look good until they hit the ice.

About 20 years ago, the receptionist put some medical tape on my old Health Card to keep it together. I still have it. Not going to gice that sucker up until they MAKE me. I don't want to renew that card every 5 years! Rediculous if you ask me.

They are slowly - slowly - slowly replacing the old ones with the new ones.
The new ones expire every 5 years - so if you have an old one - guard it with your life!!!!!
If your downtown and need to renew your health card, there's an office in my building 777 Bay Street - Lower Level!

A man watching a hockey game on kept switching channels and stopped on a channel featuring a lusty couple in a dirty movie.
"I don't know whether to watch them or the game," he said to his wife.
"For heaven's sake, watch them," his wife said. "You already know how to play Hockey!"
