I was following several of the comments regarding the old OHIP cards.
One of the reasons they have implemented the new ones that expire and have our pictures on them is to try and prevent abuse by people that want free health care without contributing to it.
I knew someone several years ago who came to Toronto to university to do a PHD. I wasn't aware until then, that students from elsewhere(she was from New York) were entitled to to use our health care system for free as long as they were in school here. I hadn't seen her for a while and then met up with her at the gym. She told me she had been away in treatment for some health concern, and she continued on to say it was all courtesy of OHIP and laughed. She had been in a US treatment center for 2 months, and we the taxpayer footed the bill. She couldn't have afforded it any other way.
All this to say; she should not have been entitled to this medical care as she was no longer a full time or part time student. She knew how to milk our health care system and we all know there still exists many like her.
So many people from elsewhere come to Ontario for free....
There has to be some sort of control in place or we as taxpayers will not have access to many of the things that are rightly ours, and our taxes are paying towards.
Think about it!
Mmmme...

Good Morning! So our server has been down at work since yesterday morning because of a virus. And apparently when my computer isn't hooked up everything's okay. So I guess my computer had the virus! It's all up and running now though, glad I didn't get in poop for it!
Thanks for the words overnight, reps wherever I could.
Still no word on the car, I think I'm just going to stop thinking about it and then maybe it will be ready
Have a great day everyone

Speaking of reps...is there a page somewhere which defines the whole SC "reputation" system, such as daily "rep" limits, and so on?
