Ok, we seemed to have fun with the desert island albums yesterday so I thought, what the heck,try it again.

What was your best classic rock artist concert and what made it so great????

Bruce Springsteen in Ottawa on The Rising tour in 2003. I'd seen Bruce many times before this, but this was the first time I'd been as close as I was this time out. I had General Admission tickets, and was lucky enough to be in "the pit" down by the stage, on Steve Van Zandt and Roy Bittan's side. I was as excited as a teenage girl at a Backstreet Boys concert. At one point, as Bruce was glad-handing the folks down in front, I was a little overcome with excitement, and, uh... ALMOST dragged him into the audience.

Since when is it an issue to repost answers? There has been 3 -15 reposts of answers in the past with little fuss.

I understand there are those that like the correct answer and those that don't think it matters. So what? Is it that big a deal that someone wants to add an extra line to a post?

One thing I do know is that we should NEVER mock someone over it. Especially a new member to the thread. That takes away from the fun nature of our community.

I know we have new members from PN due to their recent troubles with past members. So like ot or not we all have something in common so please lets just get along.

The best concert I ever saw was quite recent, Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings at Copps in Hamilton. Only time I've ever had front row for anything, usually got lousy tickets (except my Genesis tickets in the late 70's weren't bad but anyways, I digress). Excellent view of Burton's hands so watching him during Albert Flasher was mind-boggling. The only song I could have lived without was "Break it to them gently" eww!
