Geez, I've been to so many concerts over the years its hard to say which one would be best so I'll just name a few,

Stevie Ray Vaughn was great to see at the El Macombo back in 1983. He did a really fantastic show which you can buy on DVD and it was great to be at tables so close and have a few beers.

Ten Years After and the Allman Brothers were really good at an outdoor festival near Barrie. Really played good. Does anyone remember Ten Years After with Alvin Lee?

I was at the Train Festival in the 70's and seen Janis Joplin close up. Talk about crowds....no one wanted to pay so they all decided to storm the doors, luckily I found a nitch in the wall and let them all stampede by! The Band, Traffic, Mountain, Grateful Dead etc. were all there. It was great.

Then there was Jimi Hendrix at Maple Leaf Gardens, he sure lifted people higher!

I could go on and on........John Lennon etc....

Since I'm not old enough to have seen anyone good in person I guess I'll just have to settle with the tribute bands! I would really love to go to the Comfortably Numb one coming up in March at the Opera House too!
Comfortably Numb are okay for a local tribute band. As far as their performance and stage show, I'd put them on par with someone like Rock and Roll Over, a KISS tribute band that does pretty well for themselves.

If you want to see the closest thing you'll see to Pink Floyd, check out The Australian Pink Floyd Show next time they're in town. They go to extreme lengths to re-create the sound and vision of a Pink Floyd show.
What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

They both look good until they hit the ice.

    THANK YOU!!!
This is EXACTLY what I was saying, just not quite as eloquently. When it's elaborated upon, it sounds much better.

Arlo Guthrie is so cool. I dunno how many times I listened to Alice's Restaurant over and over and over again. Good memories!

Alice Cooper by far. Both his Welcome To My Nightmare and his previous to it ( I think it was called Desperado, not sure). As Alice would say, " If you just want to hear my music buy my album, but if you want a show come to my concerts". No one has ever put on a show like Alice Cooper not ever Kiss.
You bet... I remember Varsity Stadium...pressed up against a flimsy snow fence, looking at AC's huge snake...
Yes, it was "festival seating", and everyone was pressing forwards...
    ...fond memories...

OK, confession time. Who else besides me saw Donny Osmond singing Soldier of Love at Ontario Place???

& yes, it was a good concert!
I prefer to use the term eclectic rather than strange but I appreciate a variety of different musical genres.

I didn't see it but I TOTALLY dug Don Osmond as Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat". Very powerful performance.

I saw that show. My work sent me and a friend out for a nice dinner and a show to repay some overtime that I had been doing at the time.
