Perhaps you would change your mind if you heard some of the horror stories I have heard about what often happens to a pizza en route from the pizza store to the front door of those who have a reputation for very low or non-tipping.

I delivered pizza 30 years ago and I made between $50-65.00 a night, not including tips. Besides the guy I buy from is probably in the top two or three pizzas in the city(depending on the night) and I can hit a baseball at his shop.

Since when is it an issue to repost answers? There has been 3 -15 reposts of answers in the past with little fuss.

I understand there are those that like the correct answer and those that don't think it matters. So what? Is it that big a deal that someone wants to add an extra line to a post?

One thing I do know is that we should NEVER mock someone over it. Especially a new member to the thread. That takes away from the fun nature of our community.

I know we have new members from PN due to their recent troubles with past members. So like ot or not we all have something in common so please lets just get along.

same here i worked 4 mother"s pizza,payed by the hr ,tips about 25 to 30 a nite,time swhere good payed 4 a new car with cash ,

I think what Truenorth was getting at was the entered and accepted line. I would assume that if someone has posted a word, it was entered and accepted even though it was not announced. For someone to say as announced is perfect because you know it is correct, but to say entered and accepted makes me think that person doesn't accept the original posting, So how do you think the original poster feels after that.

I would have given $4 or $5. I think it's 15% for tips, but tips are really not required. Naturally, it's based on service.

I'm with MJ on this one, I use the 15% rule all around and then round up depending on what bills or coins I have. I did the delivery gig many years ago, and not because it was soooo much fun. I think I had three jobs (one of them firefighting) and was taking two courses at that time.

Much more fun being my own boss, even if the work is never-ending.
