HAPPY FRIDAY, everybody!!!
In keeping with yesterday's favourite concert discussion, here's another question to keep us entertained throughout the day:
Have you ever had a "Holy sh*t! Did that just happen???" moment at a concert? I have two:
Ashley MacIsaac joining The Tragically Hip during Wheat Kings at Another Roadside Attraction at Molson Park in 1997. I'd missed the entire show at the park, showing up just as the Hip went on. MacIsaac was one of the support acts, but they brought him up to accompany them. There's no fiddle on the album, but it just fit so well live.
I was also lucky enough to see Alex Lifeson join the Hip during the final show at their Massey Hall show this year. He joined them on The Last Recluse and a barn-burning Little Bones. What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

HOW TO SHOWER LIKE A WOMAN:
Take off clothing and place it in sectioned laundry hamper according to lights and darks.
Walk to bathroom wearing long robe.
If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas.
Look at your womanly physique in the mirror
--
make mental note to do more sit-ups/leg-lifts, etc.
Get in the shower. Use wash cloth , long loofah, wide loofah and pumice stone.
Wash your hair once with cucumber and sage shampoo with 43 added vitamins.
Wash your hair again to make sure it's clean.
Condition your hair with grapefruit mint conditioner.
Wash your face with crushed apricot facial scrub for 10 minutes until red.
Wash entire rest of body with ginger nut and jaffa cake body wash .
Rinse conditioner off hair.
Shave armpits and legs.
Rinse off.
Turn off shower.
Squeegee off all wet surfaces in shower.
Spray mold spots with Tilex.
Get out of shower. Dry with towel the size of a small country.
Wrap hair in super absorbent towel.
Return to bedroom wearing long robe and towel on head.
If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas.

HOW TO SHOWER LIKE A MAN:
Take off clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed and leave them in a pile.
Walk naked to the bathroom.
If you see wife along the way, shake wiener at her making the woo-woo sound.
Look at your manly physique in the mirror.
Admire the size of your wiener and scratch your butt.
Get in the shower. Wash your face. Wash your armpits.
Blow your nose in your hands and let the water rinse them off.
Fart and laugh at how loud it sounds in the shower.
Spend majority of time washing privates and surrounding area.
Wash your butt, leaving those coarse butt hairs stuck on the soap.
Wash your hair. Make a Shampoo Mohawk.
Pee.
Rinse off and get out of shower.
Partially dry off.
Fail to notice the water on floor because curtain was hanging out of tub the whole time.
Admire wiener size in mirror again.
Leave shower curtain open, wet mat on floor, and light and fan on.
Return to bedroom with towel around waist.
If you pass wife, pull off towel, shake wiener at her and make the woo-woo sound again.
Throw wet towel on bed.
If there is anyone who did not laugh at the truth behind this, there is something SO very wrong with you.
Have a great day..... and woo woo!!!

When I was at SarsStock at Downsview Park, my Holy Sh*t moment was when the Stones invited Justin Timberlicker on stage. I said, holy sh*t how could they do that? He's not even a classic rocker. The crowd started launching water bottles onto the stage and called for him to get the hell off stage...that was a bad holy sh*t. Can't remember any good ones yet.

Oh, and chiming in on the pizza discussion again...
One of my first jobs in high school was at Chuck E Cheese! I was a Jack of All Trades there; washed dishes, bussed tables, cooked pizza, fixed the arcade games, hosted birthday parties, played Santa at Christmas time. I even played all the costume characters. What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

I was at that show, but I bailed after Blue Rodeo. Got tired of people walking all over me (literally).
I remember seeing an interview with JT after the show. He bore the people of Toronto no ill will. I can't remember the exact quote, but he said something like "If I went to a Rolling Stones concert to see the Stones and someone like me was on the stage, I'd probably be p*ssed too".What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

This is a hello & a welcome to new people, who have joined us here,
I write these little poems kids, cause I ain’t no balladeer,
This is a place where you can come & check in from time to time,
& if you would rather remain a guest, it’s really not a crime,
We are quite a blend of folks from all over the GTA,
One thing you will find on here is winning words without delay,
We do our best to make this place congenial & invitin’,
Some days are a little bit quiet & some days are more excitin’,
On certain rare occasions we’ve even had some winners,
& I do believe that in our travels here, there have been some sinners,
The purpose of my rhyme today is to welcome anyone who is new,
It’s nice to have you with us if you’re making your debut,
If you have a story or a tale to share, remember don’t be shy,
It’s certainly one of the reasons that I like to drop by,
We all know that life can hand us stuff that’s tedious & taxing,
Sometimes we all need a reminder that we need to do more relaxing,
Although it would be nice to post & be rewarded with Airmiles,
It’s nice when you read those posts that break you into smiles!

Further to the pizza discussion... I dunno if they did takeout/delivery, but anyone remember Frank Vetere's?....LOVED that pizza!!....like so many good things, tho, they fell off the face of the planet....sad....
....all righty then.....it's bloody FREEZING out there, and I have to brave the arctic tundra and do groceries.....ew...TG for parkas....I have read posts, giggled, answered, and repped myself into jail...again.....now, there's no WAY I repped 50 times this morning, so there must be some other type of limitation to the allowance....I got in maybe 15-20 reps max?....oh well.....
...anyway, thanks to everyone for everything.....so off I go, starting with cleaning off yesterday's snow from the car....mabye I'll put on some fur lined drawers as well...later all!!!.....TROrrabest, Orratime!!
