Further to the pizza discussion... I dunno if they did takeout/delivery, but anyone remember Frank Vetere's?....LOVED that pizza!!....like so many good things, tho, they fell off the face of the planet....sad....
....all righty then.....it's bloody FREEZING out there, and I have to brave the arctic tundra and do groceries.....ew...TG for parkas....I have read posts, giggled, answered, and repped myself into jail...again.....now, there's no WAY I repped 50 times this morning, so there must be some other type of limitation to the allowance....I got in maybe 15-20 reps max?....oh well.....
...anyway, thanks to everyone for everything.....so off I go, starting with cleaning off yesterday's snow from the car....mabye I'll put on some fur lined drawers as well...later all!!!.....TR

I believe that was where they had the "super stien".. yup.. snagged one of those bad boys out of there one visit, even had it engraved with my name and zodiak sign..its actually a miracle it is still around.. As a young adult.. I had a party at my place.. old story goes.. the testosterone was flying.. and so were the fists.. they took out a whole table of glasses full of various beverages...the only thing left standing was my Super Stien.

Welcome to the Thread. A lot of us post the winning words for Q 107 to get points to enter contests. We also make friends with each other and talk about things here on the thread.


By the way you guys speaking about the Cedarbrae area. Did any of you go to Cedarbrae Collegiate? I went to Midland. I wanted to go to Cedarbrae, they got the best bands. I remember seeing Fludd there. Boy, has that area changed! and not for the better!

I think what Truenorth was getting at was the entered and accepted line. I would assume that if someone has posted a word, it was entered and accepted even though it was not announced. For someone to say as announced is perfect because you know it is correct, but to say entered and accepted makes me think that person doesn't accept the original posting, So how do you think the original poster feels after that.

Indeed! Unfortunately people like truenorthstrongnfree and 6ffightr9 are so full of themselves that they see nothing wrong with anything they do. They live their entire pathetic lives for the sole purpose of harassing and belittling others. The moderators of this board should terminate the accounts of both or they will just continue to harass and intimidate others. Unfortunately the main reason so much of this crap goes on is that boards like this establish rules of conduct for members to follow, but yet their moderators rarely if ever apply them. Oh sure, I may very well be the first to get suspended for speaking out here against such bullies, but if that is the kind of board this is, who cares...the loss will be theirs...not mine.

Any self respecting person in the St. Catharine's area would have to agree that best pizza was in Port Dalhousie at DA PIZZA JOINT. Nothing beat their pizza on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night.

Or maybe it was because it was the only place open at 2:00 AM when all 12 bars in one block closed. . Come to think of it, I don't remember actually eating it as much as I do sitting on the steps trying to contain all the beverages I drank that evening.

Seriously though, it was darn good pizza.

I was at that show, but I bailed after Blue Rodeo. Got tired of people walking all over me (literally).

I remember seeing an interview with JT after the show. He bore the people of Toronto no ill will. I can't remember the exact quote, but he said something like "If I went to a Rolling Stones concert to see the Stones and someone like me was on the stage, I'd probably be p*ssed too".

Yea, I didn't make it to the concert, but watched it on T.V.
Justin Timberlake was terrible, his music is such a drag (Get your sexy on is okay though). Don't blame people for being mad. I thought he said if people came to see AC/DC and someone like me came on I'd boo too! Whatever, he has far too much money for his so called "talent"!
