By the way you guys speaking about the Cedarbrae area. Did any of you go to Cedarbrae Collegiate? I went to Midland. I wanted to go to Cedarbrae, they got the best bands. I remember seeing Fludd there. Boy, has that area changed! and not for the better!

Hey ecat....I went to Laurier, but I took steel pan lessons at Cedarbrae Collegiate....they still do it, usually Wednesday evenings.....and I did a grade 12 makeup year at Midland......remember the round cafeteria at the front of the school?.....I used to dance on the tables to "You ain't seen nothing yet" back in the day....LOL!!...what an exhibitionist I was!!!....TR

Yea, I didn't make it to the concert, but watched it on T.V.
Justin Timberlake was terrible, his music is such a drag (Get your sexy on is okay though). Don't blame people for being mad. I thought he said if people came to see AC/DC and someone like me came on I'd boo too! Whatever, he has far too much money for his so called "talent"!

...the sad thing is tho, people missed the point that all these performers donated their time to help bail the city out of the SARS/tourism crisis.....they didn't have to be there at all......just sayin'...TR

I was a quiet bookworm in high school. One year we went on a retreat, & the class clown/exhibitionist just about had a stroke when I joined in the fun & started dancing (hey, the music was good). Funny, after that I was part of every clique without actually being in a clique.

Anyone remember CFTR, before their all-news format? We had several assemblies & serious prayer sessions (the nuns wanted us to be very good Catholics!) after a couple of less than shy girls gave a very suggestive bouquet of balloons to the DJ who came to our school dance.

Of course, being the clueless bookworm I was, I had no idea what anyone was talking about. Couldn`t figure out how anyone could be offended by balloons (I was very naive, OK).

Went there many times.
Grew up just north of Brimley and Eglinton. (Where Sayvette's use to be. Many moons ago)

My first job was Food City at Midland and Lawrence as a bagger.
That was before the stores downloaded the task to the customers.

Sayvette's ?!?!?...OMG, talk about memory lane!!!....OK, it's not pizza, but do you remember the Red Barn burger joint?....LOVED them, they had a burger called a Big Barney....you sat on chairs that looked like school desks.....that was when the McDonald's, just east of Danforth had their sign up, saying "over 8 million sold'.....LOL!!!....TR
