Actually, it looks very reminiscent of Eglinton and Brimley - say 1970s??

It is Brimley and Eglinton in the early 1970's. You can see Eastown Plaza on the right.
Red Barn & Sayvette's were where I spent many saturdays.

Sayvette's was a department store. There were a few of them in the GTA. I loved going there to buy records and browse around.

I use to go to that Red Barn and Sayvette all the time, we lived near Midland & Eglinton 64 -70 before moving to the Cedarbrae area. I still remember dad complaining when the $0.25 Big Barney was no longer sufficent to satify my growing appetite and he had to splurge for the Barn Buster somewhere in the range of $0.60. McDonald's wasn't in Canada yet, the McD's a block east didn't open until 73 / 74 if I remember correct. We still have a Red Barn in Whitby, it's the used car office at Nurse Chev / Olds.
