Never won anything big. A bunch of lesser prizes from both Q and ChumFM back when it was a rock station not an adult rap station. I don't tend to enter radio contests. Only the last two on Q AC/DC and JB&EC

Tickets from Q (some minor band was playing in Whitby, gave those to a guy in Whitby; Neil Young whom I can't stand, sold those; the last 2 Jingle Balls; a really bad movie premier based on a video game, Jason Statham was in it and Burt Reynolds looked about 700 years old), Blue Jays tickets about 25 years ago, don't remember the station, and $1000 from Leathers Leathers from CHUM FM back when they played music. Still have the leather jackets.

And that's assuming you enter every code and visit every site to get the points, miss one and the lenght of time goes up!

Hey, thats an idea! and maybe one or more of us would win a vacation there. I went to the one last year and a girl standing beside me won, she was really excited as anyone should be!!! Goes to show they really do draw for the vacations!!!

I agree! In fact, there is one think I am pretty certain of, and that is much of the newer music we hear today will not be around in 30-40 years the same way that Classic Rock of our generation is still around.

What's the best prize you've ever won from a radio station giveaway

Nothing too exciting that's for sure. I remember when I was about 7 years old and my mom had me call in to our local radio station (on the old phone with a dial on it!) and I was the 1st caller through so we won a bag of garden fertilizer. She was really excited, while I felt very unsatisfied.

More recently, I've won passes to two Breakfast with Derringer sessions (I was out of town for both of them), passes to the Q107 Summer Bash (my wife was in the middle of cancer treatment, didn't go to that one either) and then boat show passes a couple of weeks ago (which we actually got to use!). I'm still in line for a bigger prize. Sadly Shaman beat me to the latest one.
