    Tickets from Q (some minor band was playing in Whitby, gave those to a guy in Whitby; Neil Young whom I can't stand, sold those; the last 2 Jingle Balls; a really bad movie premier based on a video game, Jason Statham was in it and Burt Reynolds looked about 700 years old), Blue Jays tickets about 25 years ago, don't remember the station, and $1000 from Leathers Leathers from CHUM FM back when they played music. Still have the leather jackets.

    Club Q Bonus Code = 5,000 points/entry x 1/week = 5,000 points weekly.

    Bonus Sites = 1,000 points/site x 11 sites daily = 11,000/day x 7 days a week = 77,000/week.

    Sleuth = 500 points/day x 1/day x 7 days = 3,500/week.

    TDIC = 500 points/day x 1/day x 7 days = 3,500/week.
    Sports = 500 points/day x 1/day x 7 days = 3,500/week.
    Hoax = 500 points/day x 1/day x 7 days = 3,500/week.
    City NN = 500 points/day x 1/day x 7 days = 3,500/week.

    Surveys = 500 points/week x 3/week = 1,500/week.

    That's a grand total of 129,000/week, which equates to 7.75 weeks to turnover 1,000,000 points.

    And that's assuming you enter every code and visit every site to get the points, miss one and the lenght of time goes up!

    WAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

    I guess I'll have to join Psells on the slot machine, dam one armed bandits.

    ChouCHou

    You also forgot the extra bonus codes they throw in every once in a while and the Qpoints for picks.

    Anybody else having problems entering the Million Vacations contest? It sends me into a loop of password resets.

    Never mind, I'm in. Hope we can have a group outing to this one.

    Don't worry Robyn, we won't be kicking you out of the club just because your "birth song" was released on a CD instead of an album!

    Actually, it's cool to see more and more from your generation (including my two sons) liking the same music as us older farts! Our sons got us tickets to Clapton / Beck here in Toronto, but they're going with us!

    I agree! In fact, there is one think I am pretty certain of, and that is much of the newer music we hear today will not be around in 30-40 years the same way that Classic Rock of our generation is still around.

    What's the best prize you've ever won from a radio station giveaway
    Nothing too exciting that's for sure. I remember when I was about 7 years old and my mom had me call in to our local radio station (on the old phone with a dial on it!) and I was the 1st caller through so we won a bag of garden fertilizer. She was really excited, while I felt very unsatisfied.

    More recently, I've won passes to two Breakfast with Derringer sessions (I was out of town for both of them), passes to the Q107 Summer Bash (my wife was in the middle of cancer treatment, didn't go to that one either) and then boat show passes a couple of weeks ago (which we actually got to use!). I'm still in line for a bigger prize. Sadly Shaman beat me to the latest one.
