I saw him at Maple Leaf Gardens in the 90's when he came through town doing his blues only tour. Nothing from any of his regular body of work but I did know about half the songs.

The only problem was the stoner behind us who kept yelling "Cocaine!" LOL

you're in for a treat. and Jeff Beck...man oh man, can he play guitar. not strictly rock. does a lot of jazz influenced stuff. Blow by Blow is an incredible album. Can't wait to see Tal Wilkenfield pluck the bass.

Okay the truth - I gave the tickets to my buddy (he was the main guy on the Rick Mercer clip I posted earlier, I was the 'broken fingernail' guy) and he insisted on giving me $100 for the pair. He and his wife had a great night, which is fine because I wouldn't have enjoyed it. I think I bought some DVDs with the cash.

That's the thing about Classic Rock - Beatles, Floyd, April Wine, Guess Who are right up my alley. I wouldn't cross the street for Neil Young, U2, Springsteen or Guns & Roses. The play list is starting to creep too far forward. I'm sure we all have lists of likes & dislikes.

i'm right there with you psells. not a fan of the groups on your dislike list either, except neil. but as you said, we all have likes and dislikes and i'm not dissing you for it either. was just stating my opinion.

Unfortunately it sounds like Tal Wilkenfeld won't be playing with Jeff Beck on this tour. I'm disappointed too, she's amazing.

I see we`re comparing radio wins.
The only time I won anything was back in the eighties. From Q. I won tickets to a party for the 3rd Star Trek movie. Costume party!
So I made Klingon costumes and won the top prize.
Big T.V., V.C.R and copies of the first three movies.
It was still early when they loaded the stuff in my car which would then not close, and we had to leave the party or leave the prize out in the open for anyone to grab. It was worth about 3 grand at the time.
