I just got home from voting in a by-election in my riding today. There are 2 candidates I wouldn't vote for if my life depended on it, based on my pet peeves (silly or not, they're mine & really bug me).

Candidate #1 is a former mayor of a city in another province (I'm a firm believer that if you are fortunate enough to be the voice of a city, you should respect it enough to spend the rest of your life in that city!).

Candidate #2 is being compared to Mother Teresa (sacrilege doesn't begin to describe my feelings on this one!).

Sigh. I LOATHE politics (even tho I have a friend who was a politician).
