I have just finished booking my last camping trip for the season.. we go to Allegany at least 2 times a year.. this year is may (chic weekend) in a cabin..then grab the camper..back in August.. Letchworth in july.. Pinery in July as well.. Wilberforce (my brothers cottage) and then we finish off the camping season with a totally comercial campground, but always fun.. Darien Lake..(you can bring beer in the park with you)..lol

So, you buy 4 litres of milk...but they are in 3 bags...

How can you get 4 litres of milk in 3 bags evenly?

Well one would think 1.333L if you want to be a stickler, which means that each bag of 4L milk could be missing 1mL. Though I probably spill that much on the counter on a regular basis.

One pet peeve of mine is how some milk bags just refuse to reach the bottom of the milk jug, so the first pour is all floppy and stuff and gets everywhere!

Yes SPP, I am using the same rep for everybody. A new one every day. Unfortunately, I can't think of 50 different ones every day for everybody.

Hopefully knowing that wont make you all feel "not so special" anymore.

Anyhow, it just a fun thing.

I'm not sure if they build in an overage into milk but my guess is that they do. One place I worked there was 1L shampoo bottles filled but the machines were set to dispense 1010 to 1015mL that way no matter what happened the bottle would contain AT LEAST 1L and could be sold. Maybe they set milk for 1.5L per bag?
