What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?
They both look good until they hit the ice.

Great poem Loocie. And I echo Kenrod in saying that if fits many fathers as well (especially us single dads).
Thanks for posting that.

Abbey Road is the ONE place I regret NOT visiting when I was there.
I also wish I would have taken advantage of a walking tour or two. The Ripper Walk and Haunted London both looked interesting, but by the time my group got in from whatever we did during the day, we were all too wiped out. What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

It was a LOT simpler than one somone sent me on Facebook the other day. It was one of those "If Tom is twice as old as Howard will be when Jack is a old as Tom is now" problems that had me saying "Nevermind how old Tom is, how many advils are left in the bottle when I'm done"

Okay, depending on the seating configuration, 40,000 could be just right if we're ONLY talking eyes, noses and mouths. If the Hall has a capacity of 8000, with five holes per person, you're looking at 40,000 holes.

Yes, but you forgot to include the employees.
Ushers, floor captains, front of house managers. & then if Box Office is on the premises, you have CSRs, supervisors & a manager. & of course all the admin people who run the building. Cleaning staff may or may not be included, depending on their hours. & then there are the performers & their entourage. Oh & security. Must never forget security.
The rowdiest concert I ever went to was Julio Iglesias (I was in my 20s & took my Mom). When he started to sing Vincent, you should have seen security get into gear to keep those crowds in line. Something about that song seemed to turn the mature ladies, um, rabid.
