What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

They both look good until they hit the ice.

Therefore we have 50% of the audience with 7 natural orifices and 50% with 8 (check your anatomy and/or that of a friend). So that becomes 9,000 x 7.5 = 67,500 holes to fill the Albert Hall. No allowance for stomas or ileostomies; performers and staff not included.

Actually they should be referred to as "winter" tires cause they are manufactured with a softer rubber gripping the road better at temperatures below freezing, temperatures higher than freezing cause more wear on the tires...that is the only benefit to these tires.

I haven't put winter (snow) tires on my vehicles since 1974 and have never had any problems in comparison to vehicles equipped with winter tires...

It is mostly driving habits......I remember last year driving to Peterborough watching all the 4X4s passing me on the snow covered road....I passed them later when they were in the ditch..
They are not really made of snow so they won't melt above 0 degrees.

Winter tires will provide superior traction to that given by summer tires AND all season tires at any temperature up to +8 degrees C. When the temperature goes above that for long, you should switch back to summer tires.
