They don't let the athletes out of their sight, literally, until the sample is taken. When I worked at the Dome I had occasion to drive around on a golf cart with Gail Devers & her 'observer' after the 60m final of the World Indoor. Gail was jogging around the back corridors, cooling down and waiting for nature to take its course so the observer could observe. At one point they almost lost direct line of sight and panic ensued.

GO CANADA GO!

This soooo reminds me of my stepfather who passed away. His name was Paul and whenever he signed his name on cards or whatever that he gave us, he'd put a happy face inside the 'P' of his name.
When he died, I hadn't been able to give him his father's day card I had for him, (which I put a happy face in the P of his name on the front of the envelope) and gave it to my mom.
The next day my mom picked up his ashes and I was out at a restaurant drinking a pitcher of beer. My cell rang as my hubby was pouring me a glass. My mom was on the phone telling me she picked up the ashes and just then, the head (foam of beer) cleared to form a happy face, just like the picture you posted!!

I almost fell off my chair!!
