There is no lack of confidence. That's one of the problems. Too much confidence, too old and too slow. Too many ommissions of good players from the roster.

I agree with you regarding too many old players. And maybe it is over confidence that has been their nemesis. That loss to the US probably did bring them down to earth a little. Babcock is still juggling lines though trying to find the right combination of players.

They've improved on getting a guy in front of the net at least.

FWIW, the average age of Team Canada is 27.5 years. Team USA is 26.6 years. Not a huge difference, IMHO.

I also suspect that if you offered Brian Burke the chance to have Patrick Marleau (30), Brenden Morrow (31), Martin Brodeur (37), Roberto Luongo (30), Scott Niedermayer (36), Chris Pronger (35), Dan Boyle (33) and Jarome Iginla (32) on his Team USA roster, he'd have a pretty hard time turning you down, expecially since so many of them have played for him at some time in the past.

A poem of hockey wishes for our hockey playing men,
Do not let your opponents outscore you again,
All of Canada is routing for you,
& scoring goals is all you have to do,
The Gold Medal is waiting boys; it’s within your reach,
You can make it real & make life a peach,
Sticks on the ice & shots on goal,
Keep every play under your control,
Cover your man & keep your stick on the ice,
& that quite simply, is my hockey advice.

Wow, congrats dude. So that means, since you've been an SC member, you've had something to say 50,000 times. Hey, at least you're not shy.

P.S I find it funny that you actually blocked out someones face from your pic with the Q gang. Good on ya dude.

This may be true, but Pronger has looked awful and until tonight, Neidermeyer wasn't much better. He seems to be playing the puck much better in this game. And, god bless Brodeur and his amazing accomplishments over the years but he's getting up there too and he made some suspect plays in the loss to the US team.

LCD is most likely your best bet because they last longer. panasonic make the best plasma.
    DO your research.
Anything else you need to know?

One year in the NHL is a lot. Burke and Wilson never would have taken Luongo or Brodeur And where is Stamkos? OK, maybe they would have taken Brodeur
