I blame two groups of people for the ridiculous price of concert tickets. Shawn Fanning (Napster) and The Eagles.
If you look at your concert stubs, you'll see a major spike in 1995. Why? Because when The Eagles took to the road after their "Fourteen Year Vacation" (thank you, Glenn Frey), the top ticket price was $130, medium-priced seats were $65. I believe the top priced ticket at the time was $40 - $50.
Once Shawn Fanning pretty much made it easy for anyone with a computer to steal music without entering a store, musicians had to find another way to make their cash, and this is why the average ticket price is now $100.What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?
They both look good until they hit the ice.

If the principal doesn't do anything, put it in writing that you will escalate the matter, and make sure you follow the bully home.... then you can knock on the door and confront his parents! That's another option.

sorry, but i don't agree on the last point. this may lead to a physical confrontation, which could result in problems for you with the school authorities or police. better to let the authorities deal with it. keep escalating and documenting until someone resolves the issue.

^^^^^^
Good point!
I was thinking more along the lines of maybe the parents don't know he's a bad kid in school, but I do see your point, it can go wrong.....
Yep, I agree.... keep it in the school and document everything!

good point Virrys...that boys family should be part of all this........and as I mentioned - other key figures in the system like the school superintendant ...more red tape I know , but the more people that know then perhaps it will lead to action...I mean who's advocating on behalf of K and daughter.....where's their support.......

I totally agree.
My step daughter had the same issues. It lasted for quite some time, involve the principal and the police. It finally stop when we decided to lay charges and she was arrested.
The end of the story is she is on probation for bullying and harassment. She was charged in court and now has a record.
Make sure the police are aware of this and do document everything!

When you contact the superintendent of schools after you exhaust all avenues with the principal, you may also want to copy your local municipal politician. This year is an election year. Any money he or she will jump all over it cuz it'll put votes into their pocket.
We had an issue at our school, not bullying, but we copied our local MPP and MP and got immediate responses from both. Letters were written to the school requesting actions and timelines for those actions.
