Regarding bullying in schools.

Parents need to be dilligent & push. A parent who is dealing with this, needs to put everything in writing. This is crutial. Send copies to the principal and to the Board. Of course keep copies & conduct yourself with dignity, afterall it is your child's well being you are protecting. Never let it slip. A principal may not be happy to see you, but only you as a parent can prevent these kind of issues from falling through the cracks.
No parent wants to see their children experience anxiety & depression because of they are being harrassed.
I can remember sitting in the office of a principal over that very issue and I made it clear that I was there in the name of justice. If only accountability was a mandatory thing.

The stars are a reflection of how much rep you have been given.

First to fill up is the bar(two tone green and yellow). Once a bar is full then you get a star. There are different colors of stars as well as hearts. You can see on my profile that I am maxed out on the blue and pink stars. Once I fill the yellow to 5 stars I should get another moon! I think pink moons are the max.

It is entirely possible to have a low rep power number but lots of stars and moons.

Your rep power number is how much you give to each person total and is based on the # of posts you have. 10 posts = 1 rep power.

Your rep power is 24. Mine is 5028. Again based on posts not popularity

To date I have been given 3574080 points in rep

You can find your points total easily. It is at the top of the Last Reputaion Received page, on the right.

User CP(drop down)/ User Control Panel. Scroll down to the Last Rep Received and there it is.


This program has under gone some changes over the years. At one point a dozen of us were maxed out to the point that NO rep could be given to us. Then Boo made some changes. This is all a best guess, all be it a very good one.

Thanks for all the kind words, but I feel really wonderful this morning, the wife is telling me to sit back and rest for now, tonight when she finishes work we plan on going to the restaurant and celebrating, sounds weird don't it, but that's the truth. Everyone who sees me says you loom so happy, why not no more worries or pressure.

Only thing for me is it seems funny laying here typing replies to all from home instead f work.

I am waiting for a call back from the principal. Yesterday the twerp attacked my kid three times without the teachers reporting it. She was kicked in the bum during gym class. And twice during her regular class she was stuck in the back with a thumbtack, once while she was sitting on the carpet he wiggled his way in behind her and once while she was sitting at her desk and he passed by to sharpen his pencil and that one left a red mark and still hurts.

Tell the principal that you are going to the police youself if he doesn't contact the police liason. Like I said it's unofficial but does carry alot of weight.

If the principal doesn't do anything, put it in writing that you will escalate the matter, and make sure you follow the bully home.... then you can knock on the door and confront his parents! That's another option.

Don't follow the kid or even go on the property to see the parents because it can come back and bite you in the ass. The least you should do is request a meeting with the parents at the school with the principal present.

Once you use it to log on, it will automatically take you to your personal settings (since you no longer have a password).
just put your password back in (twice); the same one if you like.
All will be good after that.
