Hi Q-bees! Finally got the energy to type again. Haven't even been on the Q site to enter any words all week.
So I've missed a weeks worth of those.
Before anyone asks, it's a nasty flu. Coughing so hard my throat's bleeding,Ribs sore, back twinge-ing and generally feeling like c**p!

Lost my voice too!

But enough about me! How are you all?

I've missed so much it would take me days to go back and read it all, so I won't!

Karmac, WOW! Nasty business. Keep on the school about it. My X used to go straight up to the school, and politely but firmly demand to see the teacher/principal. Wouldn't leave until she got satisfaction. Got to the point where they were trembling in their boots when they saw her coming. She was formidable. But my kid's problems were never ignored!
The squeaky wheel... and all that!

Can anyone whom is knowledgeable in (ice) curling tell me why Canada just doesn't peel away the rocks since they are last shot. Because it's not looking good.

Four Rock Rule

Until four stones have been played (two from each side), stones in the free guard zone (those stones left in the area between the hog and tee lines, excluding the house) may not be removed by an opponent's stone. These are known as guard rocks. If the guard rocks are removed, they are replaced to where they were before the shot was thrown, and the opponent's stone is removed from play and cannot be replayed.

You'll notice she started peeling away as soon as she could!

Feels good to breathe again. Literally. Didn't realize I was actually holding my breath!! Cheryl had two tries to win the game .... but I guess she used up all her magic in the earlier ends. Too bad it couldn't have held out for just one more throw ....

Bright sides: a silver and outcome notwithstanding, it was a good game.
