I want to go to Saga, Psells left me some tickets. I haven't seen them in 25 years. Not sure if many friends can make it, a few got back to me saying they had plans. Anyone else going?

I saw them a few months ago at the Rose Theater in Brampton. I thought the new lead singer did a good job (all considering he's not Michael Sadler) and I was a HUGE SAGA fan back in the day. My husband didn't think he was that great.... they played a few new pieces and a few of their big hits. It was about a two hour show...

The very first time I saw SAGA, they were opening for Eddie Money in Rochester and I won a bus trip with the Q to see them. I think that was in 84 or 85. I've seen them many, many times, but I'm not going tonight...

Well needless to say this is a golden day all round...it's so totally snowing everywhere, we are heading downtown to hang with family who are here from out of town, Canada is smokin at the games....and tomorrow I predict gold for the Mens Hockey to Canada 4 - 2.

I would like to say that I am SERIOUSLY Impressed with all the Souls that I have seen on this Board!!!!
It actually blows me away!!!!
There is a special Camaraderie here that I am not used to seeing; truly amazing to behold!!!!

Now, I know that I am new here, and some "know" me from other places, but this leaves me in awe.
Bit by bit, I am learning the "ways" of this incredible World, and slowly learning that I have a "voice".

....hmmm.....why would you think you would be ridiculed?.....nah, the majority of people on here, myself included (LOL!!!), are fabulous......it's a great place to wander in and wake up, coffee in hand, and have a giggle, share words and codes, or show some support for a member who is hurting....that type of thinking should be the basis of every forum, but too often, it's not....
....there were a few problems this past few weeks with members who seemed to take offense with all kinds of teeny tiny issues....I received a few private e-mails, trying to get me into their loop....sorry, I don't do that....LOL!!!....if I wanted to cause havoc, I can do it just fine on my own, instead of hanging onto someone else's coat tails (I am Scottish, complete with temper and short fuse...hehehe!!!)....
...on here tho, there's absolutely no reason to be like that....I have found a lovely group of helpful, kind, and sharing people, and I like being here....I have never found any reason whatsoever to rock the boat, so it's smooth sailing for me all the way!!!!.....TR

.....it's snowy today.... yay from the skiers, boo from the golfers....LOL!!!.....it's still Feb, and I know I shouldn't complain about snow, but you will find I complain about the humidity in the summer too....ideally, I am looking to live in a place that rains overnight only, it's bright and sunny every day, and between 22C and 25C on a daily basis.....anyone?....I can be packed in about 10 minutes.....TR

We got lots of snow yesterday.. spent a good part shoveling and snow blowing at work, thank goodness my son was home to shovel out the drive so I could get in..Then over to Mom's to snow blow her out... I was rewarded with a couple of beers.. (and a pat on the head.. good girl)

YEEHAW!!!!....AC/DC is on right now!!!!!!!.....my Tartan is rocking, right along with theirs!!!!......they are transplants form Scotland, like I am.......they took on the Aussie accents, tho, and I can do a Canadian accent, but it's not my "real" one.....

....hey, here's a funny story about accents....some dame was trying to park in a spot, but the way the occupant came out, my sister was able to sneak in ( c'mon, admit it, you've either done it, or seen it done!!).....the woman began a rant from her car, and my sister, who is kinda quiet and retiring, apologized, but said she had to p/u something real quick.....this dame kept it up, saying it was "her" spot, so my sis said she didn't see her name on the wall ( can you see the temper rising???...LOL!!!)....and keep in mind, sis was still using her "polite" Canadian accent....
.....the woman parked, and waited till my sis came out of the store, and began again......BIIIIIG mistake!!!......my sis lost it, and began the Scottish tirade, as only we can do......ROFL!!!!....OH, I was sooooo proud of her!!!!.... by the time she was done, I'll bet this dame was waiting for my sis's head to spin right around, with the accompanying green puke!!!!...needless to say, the dame buggered off VERY quickly!!!!......ah, it does my heart good to hear stuff like that!!!.....LOL!!! ......the accent sure comes in handy...hehehe!!!
...and maybe one day, I'll tell you about the best line I ever heard coming from my dad.....it's about parking as well!!!....TR
