And even further adding to our frugal-ness, the theater where we normally see movies is only $8, as opposed to $12 or $13. But we still get the same 1000 points every time we see a movie.

Yes, they are related to Maltese but Bichons are usually twice the weight and have curlier fur. My sweet Candy had cute little ringlets when she got wet but if blowdried her fur went straight again. Her adult weight was 15 pounds up until the was 15 years old and she got really sick and dropped down to 9.

Similar story.. my sister.. with whom I do still love... after high school, old friends use to ask what I was doing with my life, she would, with a straight face, tell them that I was a professional stipper... she omitted the little detail that I stripped furniture... that was fun..

That reminds me of what my husband did to one of my sister's friends from highschool. They hadn't seen eachother for about 10 years and this friend asked him how his sister was doing. His reply was "OK but she's a guy now"

I dropped a mitt full of points on the Hendrix prize too. Then I read it over and saw that it was for a chance to win a CD. Then if you were one of the lucky 50 to win the CD, you had a 'chance' to win the trip. D'OH! I thought the trip was included regardless. Oh well. Still hoping to win it!

Any computer gurus out there?

I have an application form to fill out which is in a PDF format. It does not allow me to fill in any of the blanks. Do I really have to print the form, fill it out by hand, and then scan it to send it back?

You can try filling it with PDF XChange software. It is free PDF viewer and you can get it from http://www.docu-track.com. PDF XChange has "typewriter" mode which allows you to type over any PDF document and print and save the result. It canbe tricky sometimes to align the text properly, but it is the best, easiest and free solution I found so far.
