OMG Wallie....

I had serious cravings for McRib when I was pregnant with my daughter....
and for V8... fortunately my V8 overshadowed McRib, because my daughter loves V8...

Once a year or so McDee's brings back McRib for a limited time...
You can buy the same or similar product at Loblaws, Zehrs, or other grocery stores. They are in the frozen food area where meatballs, stuffed chicken-(chicken Kiev) are located. I have seen it packaged with a pic of a long strip like a rack of ribs. Haven't tried them though.

I tried the ones you get at the grocery store ( Ribits I think there called ) , they didn't taste the same.

I love coffee as I mentioned here previously....I do not think I could drink or smell it for most of my pregnancy, and I couldn't look at any raw meat, or chicken without becoming ill...

Some people think pregnancy cravings are a joke. I didn't have any with my second but with my first it was liverwurst! I ate three sandwiches of the stuff a day while I was pregnant. And I haven't touched it since!

Mmmmme too (sorry, couldn't resist). I was actually worried because I knew java was a no-no during pregnancy and I drank/drink sooooo much of the stuff. But I didn't want anything to do with coffee. Didn't mind the smell, just had absolutely no craving for it - so didn't drink it. My Diet Coke addiction, on the other hand, was not so easily overcome. I was worried about the aspartame and was hoping I'd get turned off that too. Unfortunately, not. But I surprised myself and summoned up with willpower to go without a diet pop for the entire duration. Kidlet is not big on pop nor coffee.

I did have a craving for all things fruit. Even fruit to this day I will not touch. But then ... let me at it!! I had a fruit basket on my kitchen table that I kept full to the brim. My basket was half the size of the kitchen table and I needed to fill it every other day. Trust me when I say that you CAN gain weight eating nothing but fruit. Kidlet loves fruit.
