Guys have pregnancy cravings too. I found myself and every other father I know had a sudden craving for beer. We took full advatage of the pregnet wife / desinated driver program for 9 months. The guys were so thoughtful since they were drinking for two.

    Muchos gracias!

I think I'll be a little more selective about the draws I enter. I'm with TNSNF on that one. No George Foreman grill for me though.

You knew it was just a matter of time before someone complaining about the new hands-free law went to the Sun with their story about how they feel they were handed a raw deal.

    http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2...21061-qmi.html

In this case, a group of girls attending a funeral couldn't find the mosque where they were going. There were four people in the car, but none of them spoke Farsi, which the person answering at the mosque spoke, where they were asking for directions. First of all, I'm sure they weren't the only people attending the funeral. I'm sure there were a number people they could have called for directions. If they were that lost, they should have pulled off to the side of the road and asked for directions.

I'm sorry, but the law's the law. If an officer bends it for one person who doesn't want to pull over and ask for directions, or invest in a hands-free kit, it creates a precedent.

They both look good until they hit the ice.

I seem to recall that I was the DD and my hubby at the time took full advantage as well. Must be a guy thing. Either that or I was married to you at one point .....

And Congrats on the Job - Hope you Enjoy it. I was off for a bit but found a job I really, truly enjoy. Haven't had a problem with what used to be the "Monday Grind" - although I still do look forward to the weekend!! It makes a big difference when you enjoy what you do and people with whom you do it,

The road of reputation does have its twists & turns,
& as most of you already know it has benefits & returns,
Some of us are Moms or Dads & animal lovers too,
& don’t forget the Smart Canucks who are sports fans thru & thru,
Did you ever think that this would be a meeting place?
Even a forum of opinion where you can state your case,
Our tastes are varied & different & at times our dander’s raised,
I like how we all just carry on, cause it’s best to be unfazed,
So this is your Friday reputation bulletin, I give with appreciation,
Cause thanks to all you “Q” bees, we have an unshakeable foundation,
The smooth sailing here is reassuring & it gives credence to the fact,
That causes all of us here keeping the faith, keeps our thread intact,
& may lucky stars & horseshoes be with us one & all,
I’m hoping one of us is the one who gets Derringer’s next call.

Good Morning All, Lets Make Sure We Get Out There and Enjoy This Sunny Day and Weekend!!! I'm a little afraid to be out before the Cash Grabs in case they happen to call, I'd freak if I missed it! At least we don't have to worry about it this weekend since they don't call on weekends!

IMO the Sun is far from a bleeding heart paper. They are quite the opposite. While I agree that the law is the law and those girls should have pulled over while using the cellphone, I think what Joe Warmington was getting at in the article is how messed up the justice system is in Ontario. A known convicted criminal goes free and kills someone, yet innocent young girls looking for directions get no break at all. They were willing, according to the article, to accept the fine but had asked that the officers take them to the funeral so they wouldn't miss the burial and deliver the fine there or at least speed up the process of handing out the fine so they could be on their way. They were upset they were being treated like hardened criminals when all they did was commit a traffic violation (again according to the article).
