You don't look old enough to have graduated yet.

(How many points did that get me?)

I was in the TFD recruit class with the first woman to join. It was an interesting first few years. I trained dozens of women and hundreds of men over my career, we expected the same from each of them.

Don't some school boards have a different week for springbreak. Like Durham as opposed to Toronto, as opposed to Peel, to Simcoe county and so on and so on? In Manitoba I remember my cousins getting off a week earlier.

By the way, folks, no major changes in the graph, I'll stick it in here over the weekend. Since it is used to forecast strategy, maybe I'll call it the Strat-o-Caster. That name's not taken, right?

Your risk assessments(?) probably haven't changed but I bet those two $10,000.00 pots will have changed something. No/yes?

Ya a bit but it still hinges on the risk at the 4th and 5th grab. There's enough data now that one good or bad set doesn't swing the overall curve too much.

Now you have to go emotional, and think about if they are going to even things out and give Kim a decent prize. Anybody know when the contest ends?

Risk assessment - risk a lot to save a life - risk a little to save property - risk nothing to save that which is lost.

up to the 4th grab - Offensive
    5th grab - Marginal/Transitional
    after that - Defensive

LIVE from Brampton, Ontario, its time for your favourite game show... the Evening Edition of kenrod's LIVE RRRoll Up The RRRim To Win!

Thats right folks, I drove through the Tim Hortons on the way home and picked up an extra large, triple triple. I just finished the coffee, and now it is time to win a car.

If you have been following my progress this season, you will know that I have rolled up the rim on 10 XL cups of coffee. So far I have won a free coffee on my first try (but lost the rim somewhere... not to mention losing my mind trying to find it), a donut on my 4th cup, and a coffee on my 6th cup.

The odds of winning a fabulous prize is 1 in 9.

Okay folks, I've got my cup in hand and it is time to win a Toyota RAV4 now.

<RRRolling up the RRRim on cup #11>

"PLEASE PLAY AGAIN / REESSAYEZ S.V.P."

Aww crrrap. I really had my heart set on winning a car tonight. What a big let down. Now I have to go out tomorrow and buy another coffee.

Stay tuned for another exciting edition of kenrod's LIVE RRRoll Up The RRRim To Win contest coming soon to a computer near you.

You need to embed some cheesy theme music, and grow a healthy head of Host Hair.

    Dear 6ffightr9,
Are you referring to me or to the first female recruit??? Not that you could have specifically known, but 8T6 rings a bell or two with me ........
Courage is not the absence of fear but acting in spite of it.

I was talking about our first female f/fighter. She had to retire because of her aliments. As to 8t6 you've got me. '86' is PSELLS class.
